A Steampunk World
-
Long ago, the entire world fractured under the weight of its own excess. A catastrophic event known as The Great Shatter split the earth into churning oceans, burning forests, and crumbling mountains. Civilizations that had stood for millennia were reduced to ash and dust in the blink of an eye. A group of visionary pioneers sought refuge in the skies on floating islands of unknown origin. The survivors of the land called their new home of sky islands Hindenburg's Redemption. Read the flash fiction before and after each adventure to discover this world!

The Air Dock Workers (Your Players) have heard too many sad stories from the many travellers returning with their airships; they’ve witnessed damaged ships, injured crews, blocked passages, and—worst of all—the crew members who never make it home at all. A colossal sky serpent and its offspring have been attacking airships and causing havoc amongst the sky islands. The free movement that the Hindenburg Peoples have enjoyed is growing more difficult and, without the ability to travel safely, the Float Day Festival itself is threatened. Your team must devise a plan to defeat the creature in a high-altitude showdown. As proud Hindenburg People, it is their goal to protect Hindenburg’s Redemption in time for all of them to safely enjoy the Float Day Festival.

Skysunder Isle, a hub of trade and innovation, thrives on advanced etherlift engines and Sunspinners, drawing merchants, engineers, and wind-dancers. Life among the islands is communal, connected by airships and cloud bridges, but the skies hold dangers—from winged predators above to mutated wildlife in the wasteland below. Now, with Skysunder Isle’s etherlift engines failing, the island is descending toward the perilous ruins below. Your team must venture into this dangerous landscape to retrieve the Heart of Aether, a vital artifact that can restore flight and prevent catastrophe.
